About Fisher Zone Secondary Schools Sports Association
Fisher Zone Secondary Schools Sports Association (Fisher Zone SSSA) brings together secondary schools across the Campbelltown and surrounding communities to foster broad school-sport participation and competitive opportunities for students. The Zone is made up of eleven member schools, each committed to providing diverse sporting pathways and activities for young people.
Fisher Zone SSSA forms part of a long-standing tradition of school sport in New South Wales, where local zones work collaboratively to deliver representative and social sport opportunities for students from Years 7–12. The Zone plays an important role as the first step in the NSW school sport Representative Pathway, enabling students to compete at zone carnivals and trials across athletics, swimming, cross country, team sports, and more.
Fisher Zone SSSA provides students with pathways to build teamwork, resilience, sportsmanship and personal growth through sport. Participation in structured competitions, trials and development events offers opportunities for students of all abilities to represent their schools and progress to regional, state and state-wide representative competitions under the Sydney South West School Sport Association and the NSW Combined High Schools Sports Association (NSW CHS).
Through its activities, Fisher Zone SSSA supports not only athletic achievement but also community connection and student wellbeing, reinforcing the value of sport as an integral part of school life.
